Yes, you will receive an email two weeks prior to the scheduled subscription date you have selected.




Yes, box items will be different with each shipment. Some items, such as bath salts or a lip balm, may be included in a subsequent box in a different scent.

Otherwise, keepsake type items will change for subsequent subscription boxes.

 

We do not accept returns or exchanges. If an item arrives damaged or broken, please notify us within 7 days of arrival and we will replace the item as soon as possible. Please email hello@takecarefriend.com for assistance. 



We use USPS priority mail. Your order will be packaged and shipped within 2-3 days of receiving your order. Express delivery options are available at an additional cost, please email to inquire about express shipping. For packages to be delivered on a specific date, such as an anniversary, we write the specific date on your handwritten notecard and your box will arrive within a 2-3 day window around your specific date. 




Allie and Kathleen love to hand pack your boxes with recycled cardboard crinkle, tissue paper and stickers and love. 

Each box contains a handwritten card with your personal message.

Often during difficult times, even the comfort of receiving a gift can add a “to do” onto the gift receiver’s plate…the thank you card. We are here to take care of that too. Each box contains an optional thank you card, already addressed to the sender, which your loved one can easily pop in the mail with gratitude but minimal effort.
